The SAFE-2 is a 7x7, 1/8 X 30 Inch, Black, Galvanized, Powder-Coated Lighting Restraint Cable with 5/16 Inch Spring Hook on one end and a secure loop on the other. Lighting Safety Cables can be attached to fixtures to guard against them falling when the primary method of attachment fails. These steel cable assemblies are secured around a pipe or truss of a stage lighting fixture then clipped on itself using the attached spring clip. Safety cables are mandatory in most stage rigging applications as they afford an extra measure of security and protection from possible support structure failure.
